Hello fellow Expy owners. I am the proud owner of a brand new 2003 Expy XLT. I traded the truck you see in my sig on it last night. If your interested, I posted a thread in the Engine forum about the maintenance costs of my truck.

BTW, I have seen several posts mentioning "well known" problems with the 2003 Expys but have seen very little here about them. Seems like if they are so well known there would be some complaining in this form? Does anybody know if there really are common problems? Are they serious or minor?

 

No problems with mine as of yet.

 

I had a squeak in the back seat fixed on my new '03, but that's it. I love this truck.

Thanks for the links. I have been to that site before, but not in a long while. It sounds like just a couple people with just a few minor problems. Although a couple are working on getting their money back under the lemon law. Several other posters mention "all the problems", but still no specifics. I guess I will just have to hope for the best.
