swap exped console for f150?

ok, looking into getting an exped, had one before but it was 2wd and had the 4.6, not enough engine, not enough vehicle for me, now have a 99 f150 4x4 that i am looking to swap for an exped, the problem here is that i like the side leg room that not having that big center console gives you,, if i was going to trade my f150 for an exped with a big long center console what would be the cost and pain in the buttness of changing that big center console out for a small just inbetween the seats kind from an f150? i am a really big guy that needs his side to side hip room and the center console is just something i do not want or need, i know i have seen a lot of posts on here about doing this the other way around by putting an exped console into an f150 just for lookin cool reasons, well that is not much of a concern, comfort is, so what you guys think? how could it be done? can it be done? how much would it cost? help here?
thanks

I would post this in the "Interior Care" forum on this site and here http://www.fordtruckworld.com/forums/forum.ten?522 to see if someone wants to trade with you or give you some money back with the trade. The bolts are already there but I think you would need new longer bolts for the back of the console. The back bolts in the Expys are shorter than in the F-150's. Take a look at my FAQ page to see a bunch of links. I have an article on there with the bolt sizes, etc. http://www.geocities.com/scmc75/f150...expy-c-faq.htm

If you do trade make sure that you send the person the console and the mounting brackets. You do not need the mounting brackets for the F-150 console. It just bolts right to the floor.
