you talking about the trim on the outside bottom of all 4 door windows?

if so, its EASY.
they are not necessarily cheap though.

i did a swap a long time ago with SilverX and i now have Navigator window moldings on my X.
The chrome strip doesnt bug me, especially when i consider how nasty thost black stips begin to look.

All 4 strips are around 150-200 for either the ford black ones or the navi chrome ones.

actually, at the parts shop here, the navi ones were cheaper by 35.00

all you have to do is pop the end up closest to the door pillar with a small flat blade or stiff putty knife (protect the paint).
anyway, go slow, so you dont bend them and pull stright UP, working your way from the pillar towards the mirror.
when you get about 3 or 4 inches from the mirror, pull back towards the rear of the car to pop the tab that fits up inside the mirrow housing.

for the rear doors, do the same thing.

takes all of about 10 min to do all 4 doors.

i did ask a long time ago if anyone thought it would be possible to prime and paint them with a flexible paint like they use on urethane body parts, etc...
no one here has tried that, but if you do, let us know
