hey guys, I recently bought a 97 expy the 4.6 and was wondering how I could find out if it has the towing package? or if the package is even avalible for that motor. thanks for any info.

 

Towing package Expeditions have a tranny cooler and also a factory hitch with wiring.

 

I have the factory hitch and wiring, but how can I tell if it has a tranny cooler? thanks

 

You can prob see it, I have never taken the time to find mine but I know it has one.

I would assume you have one though.

 

The tranny cooler is on the passenger side, right behind the bumper. It's about 5"x7". on the drivers side is the power steering cooler. At least that's where it is on my '97 Expy with the 5.4l. I just added another cooler in addition to the factory one.
