2003 Factory Theatre system

Anyone added an additional screen to the factory system? Just wondering if it can be done?

They do have additional inputs in the front of the unit, but I don't think they have extra outputs. I am sure it could be done if you were willing to tear everything out and tap the inputs to the current monitor.

I almost went with the factory system, but decided against it so I could add my own and use multiple monitors...

Do you have the Audiovox system?? I know that the Audiovox system has extra audio and video outputs. You might have to remove the overhead console to get to it.

It doesn't say any brand names on the unit anywhere but I am almost positive it is Audiovox. The unit is tan and matches the interior. It was factory installed. Hopefully that will shed some light on what unit I may have, let me know.

You can go to this Audiovox site and look up your particular model. Once you found your model, double click on the model and go to the Owners manual section then to the Installation /Schematic (PDF file). The schematic page will gives you all the inputs/outputs connections. Hope this will help.

That really sucks because I bought the same system with my 2003 Expi. What I might do instead is just remove the stock theater system, sell it, and add 2 headrest lcds with another fold down in the middle.
