Question Rear Air?

Is rear air an option? If so... could you just buy the overhead console for the rear a/c controls or is it a completely different system?

There's a whole lot more to it. The rear unit is mounted in the drivers rear corner. You'd have to plumb the thing back to the back. Could probably be done, but would probably be cost prohibitive.

Question Aw

Great... lol I wonder if it's that much of a difference. I really don't bring too many passengers. Where exactly is the unit located, and what is different? Basically where is the extra plumbing in the rear? Thanks!!

I think the blower fan and heater and cooling cores are in the rear driver corner, I have seen heater lines back there and I have heard if those go bad, it gets ugly. All the vents are run under the headliner on the drivers side above the passenger in that seat and into the passenger side above the middle seat and into the back where there are vents for the 3rd seat. I was a 1600 dollar option from the dealer, to dublicate it, I'm sure you would be in it over 3 grand parts and labor, unless you got the parts dirt cheap and did most of the work yourself, but I am assuming you would have to chop the truck up and rebuild it.

Thumbs up Eww

Nevermind then =) No one gets in the back anyways. How can you tell if it exists already? There are no controls but both the overhead console and center console were removed so they may have been there before. Thanks!

also, right above the front center overhead console, there will be another air condition/heat controls similar to the one on the center overhead console, if you have one of those even....
