Prolly wrong place, but

For all of you that have had their Stereo's fail.... I have just replaced my working stock head unit, factory sub amp and sub.... If any of you need any of them let me know... Dirt cheap BTW I'm thinking $30 for the head unit and $30 for the Sub amp and Sub together....

ExpyBoy, what did you replace the sub with? I'm thinking about swapping mine but heard some replacements don't work with the factory cupholder install.

The actual SUb was replaced with a Fosgate dual voice coil... Had to modify the stock box "a little"... essentially cut the back off - the Fosgate is deeper.... The AMP well..... no it doesn't fit with the cup holder... I'm working on finding a work around.... even modded the stock box more.... I had installed the main amp under the rear seat (80% one)... no room there... it would fit under the single seat in the rear if I removed the hatch closer (little tube that provides back pressure).... But NOPE not an option.... I'll come up with something

Originally I had a Fosgate 5 channel AMP, but not enough power to the sub for me.... Alpine makes a nice 5 channel... will accept inputs for 4 main speakers plus sub inputs... That may be the answer for the rest of you... It will fit under the 80% seat and just run speaker wire back to the stock enclosure
