Hello,

I just bought my first 2000 Navigator last night..and I am VERY excited about it


My first question is how do I program a key faub? The dealer only gave me two keys...no key faub. However, I have an extra key faub, never programmed, from my '00 Mercury Mountaineer, can I use this? Or do I have to go to the dealership and buy one and have it programmed?


Also, I am new to this board and haven't had a chance to look around yet...but is there anything I should know about the 2000 Navigators? Recalls? Etc... She's still under warranty, so I want to get all I can out of it

Any help would be appricated

 

I just called the dealership and they were able to tell me that the key remote could be programmed for the new navi and told me how to do it.
