hey fellas. im new to the mods on trucks so bare with me. most guys have '97 and up trucks. mine's an '89 I6. im looking at getting a heartthrob exhaust system with the dual resonator tips as well. can anyone tell me if its worth it? i'd like some rumble and better performance. if this won't do it, im open to any suggestions for other exhaust systems. i do all my own work so i wont have to pay anyone to do it for me, and the experience is good too.

the first mods im doing are a K&N drop in and a throttle body spacer. the K&N seems to give me a little mor low end umph, but i think my gas milage is going down. ill have to wait until the end of the tank to see. ive done some research and alot of people said they were garbage, so im thinking of returning it. however, most of the people that said they were junk had late model trucks. if anyone can tell me, would they have any effect on my 89 I6 engine? i just want to get all the facts before i put it in or return it. any help is appriciated.
