Lightbulb New true dual exhaust plan

I planned on putting the emico cats on and running it to my existing y pipe to the duals. Here is my new plan just to run the cats to an x pipe and then take the y off and run to the existing duals, what do you think? how much do you think this would cost? and how much is an x pipe or should my muffler man be able to fabricate one? thanks for your opinions should sound sweet with true duals straight pipe.

I think you will be better off to buy an X piece. I used a Bassani, check out my "exhaust" photos-

Green,

Those are early Ford (32-48) exhaust deflectors, all stainless, universal fit.

I bought one from Mac's Antique Auto Parts (800/777-0948) for my '38 Ford sedan and liked it enough to put them on my truck.

They are available as follows:

With "Ford" script (mine), p/n V18259A
With early "V8" symbol, p/n V18259B
Plain, p/n V18259C

All are the same price, $12.75 each.
