Borla Vs. MagnaFlow

I’m trying to decide whether i should go with either of the above cat-back systems.
i know the magnaflow are pretty decent to say the least but i haven’t quite heard much about the Borla Exhaust.
i defiantly like the magnaflow because of it's feature, but i prefer the look of the borla (the only thing i know about it)
Are there any significant advantages / disadvantages between the two?

your right definitly the looks are different.
someone posted another question like mine and one person answer that the borla makes more noise, or rather you hear it louder because of it's location).

if that is that only difference then i guess i'll go with the magnaflow.

Location shouldn't make that much difference. It's the series that matters, and Delta Flow. Check out

Noise is great to impress your friends, but on long drives it can be a real headache, literally.

Looks definitely matter with the stainless steel tips!

The drone and the RPM that it occurs would be different in the cab for both systems. We have the magnaflows on ours and there is a slight drone, but nothing unbearable.
I believe both are straight through designs, However, the borla I had (different vehicle) had rings around the connecting pipes and the mufflers that went below the actual size of the pipe diameter. This was for the muffler to fit better, but disrupted the flow.

I have the Borla on my SCrew. I've had no problem with it. The look is great. My major concern was the noise level in the cab and to others when cruising around. I was pleasantly surprised even with my JBA headers. The noise level is acceptable at start-up and just awsome when you goose her. Very distinct and refined. After the truck warms up, the sound quickly lightens to stock exhaust noise levels. The in-cab sound very acceptable no matter what you are doing with the gas pedal.

Find yourself someone with a Borla and take a listen. The sound is very distinct and refined. I have gotten many comments on the look and then the sound after I rev'ed her a few times!

Hope this helps!
