Question Magnaflow vs. Borla?

Anyone have any experience with Magnaflow exhaust? I heard they were better and cheaper than Borla? Stainless steel is stainless steel, right? or is this one of those "you get what you pay for situations"?

I have a borla exhaust and wouldn't have it any other way. Great sound. Keep shopping, I got shipping for $1.00 and it was at my house in two days.

Thumbs up

I have a S.S. Magnaflow in-line on a 3" custom exhaust system. You can't go wrong with either system.

hey permit1971,

when you say the Borla sounds good do you mean it's loud or just a nice humm?

i like the Borla look more than the Magnaflow but performance, quality and the right sound is more important to me.

any info will be appreciated.

thanks.

borla

Sorry took so long to post, haven't been on that much. I have a '97 short bed, so the exhaust exits on the side in FRONT of the right rear tire. You can definitely hear it, but to me, it is a very pleasing sound. I noticed heads turning. I recently pulled next to a late model Camaro that had an exhaust upgrade. He seen and heard my exhaust, so he had to let me hear his exhaust. Then he let me catch up and I floored mine. He must have liked the sound because we did that for a bunch of stop lights. Never did race, he would have killed me. That's when I knew I had a good sounding exhaust.
