Which Model Magnaflow???
Which Model Magnaflow???
I have been researching mufflers and exhaust systems and have decided on going with a Magnaflow. I seem to remember reading that somebody went with the truck Magnaflow and did not get any improvement in performance? I intend to keep the stock exhaust pipe on my 2002 4.6 2wd Lariet.
Any recomendations, or just go with what the muffler shop recomends? They said about $60 for the muffler.
Thanks for any help.

Go to the Magnaflow sight and you will find some of the different mufflers/cat systems and more info.
From the threads I've read here, magnaflow is not one of the "Louder" exhausts, but it gives the best gains throughout all the RPM range.
Here is a link to magnaflow:

You can also try the product directory in the left corner and the pull down will give you a link to exhaust products.
Rocks
Sorry, I should have said I am looking for gains in performance, I do not want a loud muffler. I mainly want gains in torque, which is why I decided to keep the stock tailpipes.
Thanks for your input.
