Is there an exhaust tip that can be tuned?

I have a 94 150 with a 5.0L with dual exhaust (2 1/4 pipes) and glasspacks. I'm sure I am losing low-end torque with this set up, so I was wondering if there was an exhaust tip that could be tuned so that the flow could be restricted for optimal low-end power. The mufflers are welded on (not my doing), so I don't want to really get involved with changing mufflers.
Thanks

Thumbs up Maybe these will help??

According to the ad, these are supposed to cure the problem of an over done exhaust. It's up to you to believe it, but it sounds plausible??,,,,98

Supertrap muffler tips are tuneable by varying the number of discs in them. They don't look all that great though and the sound isn't what I like but I've only heard them on 4 cyls.

Some of the stainless import mufflers have insertable silencers.
