how long do thrush glasspacks last?

I have those cheap thrush glasspacks and i can't believe how much quieter they make my truck compared to when i had no mufflers at all. How long will it take the glasspacks to wear out so it will sound like straight pipes again?

I had a thrush glasspack on my truck when i first bought it. BAD MOVE!!!!! I have the 300 6 in my truck and it sounded like dog ****. I could barely hear it even outside the truck. But hey i bought mine for $15.95 at summit. Don't know how long they really last cause then i put a new galvanized aluminum glasspack on it and it sounded sooooooo much better. Sounded more like itself I had mine on for about 6 mon when changeg it over. I wouldn't reccommend it

if you want them to be louder just drive your truck around a lot and then splash some water on the packs themselves. A drastic move is to pour a little gasoline down them (when there off the truck) then light it and blow it out and put them back on.
