Flame Thrower Kits

Here is a question for everyone. I was looking through Truckin magazine and came across an ad for a flame thrower kit. This will shoot flames 20 feet out your exhaust (states for off-road use only). It cost $99.00 for one exhaust. So here is my question, has anyone ever bought on of these or seen one. I've heard that people back in the 50's used to attach spark plugs to their exhaust to shoot flames. It sounds like kind of a fun mod. Waiting for that one person to get up on your a@@ then flip the button. I bet that would make them back off fast. Let me know your thoughts - besides be very dangerous!

a friend of mine and I did this to his truck (custom 79 F-250, highly modded). we did not use a kit though, we went online and found all the necessary parts to make it work. let me tell you, it was a pain in the A$$ to get it right, but afterwards, it was worth all the trouble! my recommendation is to go and buy the kit, im sure its a lot better than just collecting parts individually like we did. keep us posted on what you decide to do, good luck!

by the way, could you tell me the brand of the kit youre looking at in the magazine? thanks!

Sounds like fun! If you try it let us know how it goes--I may need to get two for myself so when those annoying little imports try to come on my A$$ I'll let em have it. It might melt their body kits or somthing HAHAHHHHHAAHAHAHAHH
