Next week I plan on getting an exhaust system. I called up the place and asked them what setup they recommend for the loudest possible I can get without getting pulled over. The guy told me to get the catback system with new pipes and everything and the 40 series flowmaster muffler on my 94 f-150 xlt 5.8. He said it would cost 289 for that. My question is I would like some advice on getting a high flow cat. I want to know if you guys recommend getting a high flow cat on top of this setup and would this substantially help for great loud sound. I mean I wanna make other people feel it. should I get the high flow cat and how much would it be for the cat and installation. Ive got a little more than five hundred to spend on this exhaust setup. Oh and I live in CA so I cant get rid of them. And if you do recommend a high flow cat, would these two purchases be worth it, or is there something else I should get to increase the sound.
