Gibson or Magnaflow

I heard that the Gibson gives you more torque than any other cat back system. I have also heard that Magnaflow acutally lowers your torque ? Is this true ? Both the systems are 3" from the cats back, with the only difference being the muffler so, which exhaust system is better ?

I installed a Magnaflow last week and noticed that my truck has more torque when taking off at the green light.

Do you want loud or quiet?
Gibson = bit louder than stock
Magnaflow = Lot louder than stock

Performance is equal

Exclamation

I am happy with my Gibson but after all this time I am already used to the sound. I want louder.

I am used to the lift, so I am looking for more.

And the 35's BFG are not big anymore.

And for the power...... I need a supercharger.

Seems that I have a lot af work $$$$$ ahead.

This is a desease very common in here.

For a 2002 screw 5.4 and 4.6 the magnaflow part number for the cat back system is 15609 goto the maganaflow web site for application guide...I found the above kit for 415.00 plus shipping even though the maganaflow list is 599.00

Hope this helps..

I'd go with Magnaflow, but that's just my $.02
