what are y'all for doin fer true duals??????????????
it seems like alot of y'all like to put true duals on your truck. When you do this do you have the shop make you 2 direct fit converters or what do you do when it comes to put the cats on. Do you still run 4 cats or just run 2 cats(1 cat per pipe) I'm thinkn about gettin true duals on mine
Still have the stock converters on (all 4). I had the shop cut out the factory Y pipe where it merges to one pipe. The Ford Y pipe is a JOKE.
After they cut that out I had them install 2.5" pipes and connect it to my dual pipes. I have no mufflers.

I heard some true duals on silverado while i was wooster Ohio the other for sis's graduation and despite it was a bowtie it sounded really nice. I know it was true duals because we followed it into the parking lot of my sisters college for her commencment and while we were unloading the truck after the owner walked away i decided to take a peak under the truck. Sure enough it was true duals 2 cats and looked like 2 1/2" pipe with 3 1/2" tips out the back.
I hate to admit it but the bowties do sound pretty decent. I am going to record my exhaust here shortly and post the clips of it on here for ya'll to hear.
I had an exhaust hanger break yesterday and when it was welded on at the shop it was melted into my tail pipe so i had to re-weld that this morning and fix the hole it left. It made a really annyoing hissing sound.
Other than that I am VERY happy with my set up and have received alot of compliments on it.
