Didn't think a catback would give you a torque increase large enough to notice?

If you increase HP doesn't torque also increase?

Not necesarily.... (sp?) This has been debated over and over, so I don't want to really start it up. Allot of people get exhaust done on a stock vehicle, and believe there truck gained significant hp/torque numbers. This just isn't so. It's all in your head for the most part on a "stock" vehicle. You hear the loud exhaust notes and get the sensation that you are 10x as fast as before the change.

Don't get me wrong! You CAN gain both horsepower and torque by changnig out the exhaust, but it is very minimal when done "alone" on a stock application. Not trying to start a flame war guys, so be gentle.
