Question Who has 3 chamber Flowmasters?

I think i'm gonna get a Flowmaster sometime over the summer or whenever. I'm thinking about a 3 chamber Flow. I've been told that i won't lose too much low end torque with it. I want it to sound good, but not be really loud. Just sort of a low growl. Should i got with a 40 then?

Flowmaster Force II

I put the Flowmaster Force II Cat Back system #17222 which has the 50 SERIES SUV muffler on my SuperCrew a couple weeks ago and love it. At idle it is not to loud, but has a nice deep rumble. Just enough to sound like a truck. Under heavy acceleration it rumbles loud enough to turn heads without waking the dead, and no highway drone.

As far as power I have better acceleration and it feels tike I gained some torque in the low end. No dyno just seat of the pants. I highly recommend the Flowmaster Force II if what I described is what you’re looking for.

Sound Clips

Here’s a link to Flowmaster’s page. At the bottom of the page there are sound clips of several vehicles with Flowmaster exhaust systems that have the same muffler as mine. The Dodge pickup sounds very similar to mine.

I have a brother that put a 3 chamber Flow Master on a '95 F-150 with the 5.0L. It sounded great. At normal speeds it had a nice, low rumble that wasn't very noticable in the cab. At full throttle it sounded really good, but was hard to hear over the sucking sound from the K&N FIPK. The cool thing is, I could hear him coming around the corner and into my neighborhood with him driving normally. It wasn't loud, just a low rumble you could detect. I am wanting the same sound from my truck.

NDB, I have the 50 series (3 chamber) and it sounds awesome. It just rumbles a little at idle, and when driving the speed limit at 75, its just slightly louder than stock. But when you get on it hard, it comes to life and sounds Kick A.
