Lightbulb installing cat back system

Hey Guys,
I've decided to go with the Magnaflow Cat Back system (SI/SO) per Mike T's recommendation. Got a price of $75. from a local muffler shop for install. Just wondering if it's worth the money or is it easy enough to do yourself. If anyone did do it themselves how much of a pain was it and approx how long did it take you to do. Anything tricky about it???

Thanks

I know the Gibson's are very easy and everything fits perfect - about an hour to do it yourself.

BTW, where did you get the Magnaflow and how much $?

I got it at a local speed shop where I live. Paid $505.00 + tax. He matched the price of truckperformance.com ilike the idea of buying local rather than over the internet in case of any problems.I'm just hoping that it's not real loud.

what i did...

i paid 65 dollars to have my catback installed. i think it was worth it. saved me a couple hours of work on a saterday afternoon. i also had some custom work done to my catback...so i sorta needed to have it taken in. i do not have the tools that my local shop has. i think it is basically...if 65/75 bucks is not a big deal to you, go ahead and have it done. but if you would like to save some money, it is not that hard to do on your own. good luck

I also had a shop put my exhaust on. Getting the factory exhaust off is a bit of work. Unless you have the tools I'd leave it alone.

LBC150 - I also have a super truck exhaust, What modifications did you do to yours? I like it so far, is there a way to make it better?
