i am looking to put a bassani exhaust on my 02 f150 and the dealer will not give me a strait answer. i plan on changing the whole exhaust system. headers, new cats and so on. and is what i want to know is if i change the exhaust will it void my warranty. people have told me that it will only void my exhaust warranty. i just want to make shure it will not void any other part of my warranty.

 

Welcome !! It will void the warranty on the exhaust parts that are replaced. It will not void the "overall" vehicle warranty. If you screw something up, it's not covered (like stripping out a header bolt). As with most aftermarket parts, if they're designed for that application and properly installed, then Ford would have to prove that the product caused problems in other areas to void any warranty work.
