Exhaust longevity

Anyone out thier have any suggestions about what high temp paint and primer to use for a aftermarket aluminized cat back.

I live in western NY and they like to dump salt on the roads like they get comision on how much they waste.

I just dont wany my exhaust rusting off after 6 months.

Or any other solutions?

The aluminized coating protects the steel pipe quite well. If you keep your truck a long time and live in a harsh environment, you should keep your factory stainless steel pipe and just install a stainless steel muffler, or buy a complete stainless steel cat-back.

To Late

It's to late, I have already bought a aluminized cat back.
I just wanted to know what I can do to protect it from rusting even better.
