Question X pipe...yes or no??

I have got Bassani shorty headers on the way and i already have true dual exhaust with 40 series flowmasters. I also still have all 4 stock cats on. The pipes on it now are 2.25 inch. My qustion is: Is there any noticable gains to be seen from just the X pipe itself? I know it is supposed to balance the flow better but i want to know if i should go ahead and put an X pipe on when the headers go on or is it not worth the money.

thanks
justin
