MagnaFlow question

I'm going to have a MagnaFlow SI/DO exhaust installed in my 2002 5.4 SuperCab, and have a couple of questions.

1. Is the sound affected by what type of "cut" the tips are? Slanted vs Straight?

2. Is there only one type of MagnaFlow for this vehicle/engine setup or are there choices?

I don't want cabin drone and I don't want super loud. Thanks for any help.

Mark,

I have slanted tips and have heard straight tips from friends. No noticeable difference. (I'm sure that if you get someone to sit down and calculate all the different physical configurations of shape and size and so on, you might get (in theory anyway) some difference) I would just go with the look that best suits your taste.

I think a representative from Magnaflow would be much better qualified to answer your 2nd question. Go to www.magnaflow.com and email them. You'll get a reply within 24 hrs. (usually)
