Thumbs up Just got my true dual Flowmaster 40's installed!

Hey guys!
Just had true dual 40 series Flowmasters with balance tube installed tonight! It sounds pretty good but I noticed a pretty bad leak when I got home. Is this a pretty natural thing with a new system. One thing I dont like about it is that the mufflers are clamped instead of welded on. I think I'll take it back and tell them to put a weld on them. Whatta you guys think. It sounds great other than that! I feel like such an idiot for not noticing that that they were clamped when they got it done.
I felt a very noticable increase in power all the way around. I've heard some of you say that it's a good idea to reset the truck's computer after installing a new system. Should I do this? The truck is running fine so far.

as far as I know my truck's computer wasnt reset after the install, It was reset however, 2 weeks later when I installed the K&N FIPK. My exhast is welded on, with no leaks. The welds do rust up good though, so tomorrow I will try and clean them up real good. I went with the 50 series.

Here is a pic of the exhast pipes, I will get a new pic this weekend when I clean them up.

Do you have sound files? I'd love to hear it! Also honestly do you notice the loss in low-end? I mean I've heard flows are just for sound and will hurt low-end and that true duals will hurt it even more so how noticeable is the loss? -Mark

Exhaust leaks fixed!

Well, I got the exhaust leaks fixed yesterday and it sounds great! I went ahead and had them weld them on all the way around. After driving it for a couple of days I know it definately increased the top end power, as far as low end it seems pretty much the same, maybe a VERY slight decrease. I've not decided yet. It's way louder than I ever expected it would be. Not bubba loud and not tinny or raspy sounding but just right. Powerful deep tone. It's definately a head turner! The whole system went for $368. All aluminized pipes, h-pipe, 2 40series flowmasters, and 2 18 inch slantcut tips, with 2 yr warranty parts and labor. How's that sound guys? Does that sound like a pretty good deal? I'm definately satisfied with it all the way around. In my book true dual 40 series FM is the only way to go. Killer sound!
