Quiet Sport Exhaust?

I want to put some exhaust on my Navigator but i dont want that "hear ya from a mile away" exhaust.

thats what i had on my last truck.
it is nice and all but not for a gator.

i want something that has a slight low rumble and just stays at a nice smooth level.

let me try and demonstrate::::::

what i dont want-- EMRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

what i do want-- uhmaaaa

i know it sounds stupid but anyone with exhaust on their gators help me out.

Thumbs up Gibson Swept Side

I think they make 'em for the Nav. They do for the Expy anyway.

It's a pretty quiet system but has a nice tone to it that's better then stock.

Got one on my F150, and really like it. The wife even approves of it!

HAHAHA!! I like you example of how you wanted it to sound. I actually said it outloud to see how it sounded. But, yeah go with the gibson ss, they make them pretty quiet. i know someone who has it and loves it. He said, "so long as the wife doesn't complain, will be alright." But they are not cheap, but they last!!

Question ????

Which way are you running the exit ???? And are you going with single or duals? I just put a MagnaFlow muffler on my truck with duals out back & love it , it doesn`t have that redneck louder than Hello sound either . Nice mellow sound , plus nodrone noise inside the cab . I hope this Helps !!!!!!!

Try the Ravin 77's, just what you are lookin for.
Very little to no drone, at crusing speeds it is almost quiet,,,,,
stand on it and it comes alive with a low big block rumble.

I was very pleased, you will be too.

I am also looking for a quiet exhaust to free up some power. I surely don't want any drone or noise at highway speeds. My previuos mustang had a LOUD drone on the highway, actually it was LOUD everywhere. I really want to just buy the muffler and weld it in place. But I really don't want to change the sound up. My fiance will KILL me if she has to listen to it on the highway. (This will be her truck in about 7 months) Maybe I should leave it alone,

Hey Guy's, Are you talking about mufflers or exhaust systems? I would like to get some noise out of mine without changing the entire (and costly) system. Do they still make "Cherrybombs" or "Glasspacks"? Thanks in advance, ennis

Exhaust for Navigator

If QUIET is what you want, get the Gibson system.
It actually sounds more quiet then factory.

I am VERY disappointed in it! When my truck is idleing and I walk behind it, I can barely hear it running.

I am thinking of replacing the Gibson muffler with something else

Steven1642,

Go to http://irfanview.com/english.htm and download irfanview. It's a small free program that is used for resizing pics. It's the easiest little program that you can get to resize pics. You will be resizing your pictures in a matter of minutes, guaranteed
