Would it make a difference in sound if instead of having the pipes run out the back like EVERYONE HAS, run them angled out the back ...45 degree angle? Just curious. I have the 40 series delta flow and was wondering if it would make it louder.

Thanks

If ya want it a little deeper and louder, cut the pipes at the back axel and dump them(bend the pipes to where they are facing the ground_ this will make the sound echo off the ground making it louder and deeper.

he's right. if you dump them, the exhaust will be louder and deeper. as far as angling the pipes out to the sides, it wont make a difference in the sound of the exhaust, but you might hear it a little more in the truck since the pipes arent exiting straight oput the back. remember, the delta flow muffler was designed to be quieter than the regular FM40 series, so if you want more sound then you could always just swap mufflers and leave the pipes how they are. hope this helps!
