Im new here but read the forums all the time and know this has been talked about, however my truck is new and want to make the correct decision with y'alls help please. I have the 5.0 and just learned my truck has the cylinder deactivation which sucks for me because I was wanting to add a exhaust system or at least change the muffler but some say when truck goes into v4 mode it sounds terrible or weird--I was wanting borla maybe-sounded great on my 2017. Has anyone found a muffler that sounds good or tolerable when our trucks go into 4 cyclinder mode? I was looking at the borla xr1 or maybe the borla s-type system but didnt want to be very disappointed--also considered the flowmaster outlaw since its also straight through with no restriction--watched tons of videos but I just need a honest input from someone who has already done this--thank you for your time
