True Dual Exhaust Doesn’t Sound Equal

Hey everyone, I recently had 2.5” true dual exhaust with Magnaflow 4x9 mufflers (#11366) with no crossover pipe installed on my 05 F-150 5.4. The two sides just down sound the same. The driver side sounds good, but the passenger side sounds like just rushed air. Would this be fixed with a crossover pipe, if so would an x pipe or h pipe be the best? Thanks!

You need a X-pipe. You are losing low end torque without it.

I’ve read that H pipes sound better, would that do that same job without hurting the sound?

Not really. If one side is quiet you may have a plugged cat.
