Maybe a Vacuum leak

I have an 04 F-50 5.4 liter V8 truck with a cold air intake and every morning i turn it on everything is fine but as soon as i get down the road i notice a clear loss of power when i hit the gas
it doesn't shake when idle or stall on me just when i hit the gas it feels like my truck is trying to pull something heavy and it can barely go. i've checked all the hoses and even replaced one that was bad
but it's fine now also have replaced the air filter and still the same. can anyone help please?

Check the back pressure in the exhaust. The catalytic converter may be plugged. A muffler shop could check it.

Also, have you had it retuned for the CAI? If not, it's running too lean. The stock MAF doesn't meter correctly except in the stock intake tube.

Cold air intake. Mass airflow sensor.
