I have a 2005 F-150 Fx4 5.8L 3v Triton. I bought a new performance muffler for it. I accidentally bought the 4”x9” oval offset performance muffler instead of the “5x8” oval offset performance muffler. A tech said it was a little bit louder and gave more ground clearance. My question is how much louder will the 4”x9” be, I just don’t want something obnoxiously loud. Just wanted my v8 to have a deep rumble and some more sound to it. Or do I just return it and get the 5”x8”?
