Looking to improve the exhaust tone just a tad. I think I've pretty much narrowed it down to one of the quietest Magnaflows (5x8x24 or 5x11x22) or just leaving it stock. I've literally read, searched, and listened to vids until my eyes hurt. Not a lot out there on the 22 and 24" Maggies. Will definitely be leaving the stock resonator on. If you're running either of these, let me know what you think of it compared to stock as far as tone, volume, and drone. Thanks!

 

Why don't you just delete the resonator? That should give you what you want. Stock muffler is essentially a straight through.

 

I considered that but listening to some vids online, I don't think I would like it. I thought it sounded pretty good at lower RPM but at higher RPM it took on a raspy, crackly tone that I'm not a fan of. That and from what I understand, the resonator is a huge part of preventing drone at highway speeds.
