EGR Line Replacement

I have a 1993 F150, 5.0, Auto, 2-Wheel Drive.

I replaced the passenger side valve cover gasket which required the removal of the upper intake plenum.

After replacing the plenum, I attempted to bolt on the EGR valve. Upon repositioning the EGR valve, I broke the EGR Tube. It must have been brittle as it took very little effort. I purchased a replacement tube from Rock Auto.

What size wrench will I need to disconnect the broken tube from the connector?

Will it be difficult to loosen?

Is it necessary to replace the connector as well?
