I have a 07 f150 4.6 and I recently got a code of po420 which is a cat converter cooed. I was going to just remove the converter and replace it with a length of pipe and remove the sensor which was in the converter. Does the sensor that was in the converter have to be installed in the new pipe I am installing or can I just unplug it and remove the sensor altogether?
