i hear they are made by "Cherry Bomb" or something liek that...anyone got a website of theres???

also how loud are they> arte they louder than the FM 40 series? the guys at Midas and Meinake and the Speekshop said they were?

If you like that poppy sound. Go with them. I had them on my truck for two weeks, trashed them out for Flowmasters 40 series. I took my truck to a buddies shop and told him to put flows on, he told me he gots these new mufflers that soung like flows, an there cheaper. Like an idiot. I said ya sure. What a freaking mistake. Knew what I wanted, an got talked right out of it. My personal opinion, since I had them, they suck and sound like *****. You may like them. Everybodies different. I didn't. Sorry.

I had the vortex on a chevy of mine... They're not nascar loud, the have a very nice deep tone during idle and pretty smooth when you step on the gas. You can definately here it when it comes down the road. My wife always knew when I was coming home


They are made by Cherry bomb. I don't think cherry bomb has a web site, but I've heard the places like meineke sells them. Do an internet search for cherry bomb and vortex. There are lots of exhaust shops that install them...

Believe me the Vortex sounds loud. I know it is a matter of opinion.

But I love the sound, it is awesome. It sounds like a mustang on steriods. I had Flowmaster's on my EXPY and there were too quite for my taste. Granted I only had 2 1/4 inch pipes.
With my Vortec I went with 3inch pipes, so I think that make a difference less restriction more free flow.

I wonder if FM sound different on F150vs EXPY ?

Because everyone with an F150 loves FM. I dont care for them

I now turn many heads and people hear me coming. I also set off alot of car alarms.
