Do you guys make tailpipes that exit on the same side over the axles.
I need dual pipes that go over the axle.
Can you make something or help me!!!

Flowmaster does produce universal-fit tailpipe kits, but we do not offer a dual out, same side exit behind the rear tire configuration. If you would like additional assistance selecting Flowmaster mufflers or exhaust components to build a custom exhaust system for your truck, give us a call at 707-544-4761.

Yeah that's my next option. Not a fan of Lou's custom exhaust. That's what we have around here!
Just figured I would ask.

Hmmm... I was thinking of upgrading my exhaust, but I don't want it too loud as I leave for work early and like my neighbors! I went to flowmasters site and couldn't find a local dealer to ask stupid questions!

Our American Thunder Cat-back, part 817663 is the most aggressive system that we offer for your truck. Here's the video:

If you aren't looking to pick up a full cat-back system and would like a Flowmaster muffler recommendation for your truck, give us a call at 707-544-4761 and we'll get you the part numbers that you need.

07massHD, can't say I blame you on not wanting to use them. I have dual oval 2 1/2" in/out magnaflows and wanted them dumped before the axle. The "tech" (I use that term VERY loosely) decided to take what he called manifold elbows, 2 1/4" out of my 2 1/2" mufflers and fill the crap out of the gap with slag. It's not the right size, and it's a hack looking job. Before I had the dual ovals I had Magnapacks. They were loud and so I swapped to the ovals. I went to them thinking its a simple muffler replacement job, and I told the guy to throw the Magnapacks in the bed. I never checked after and when I noticed them not there the next day I called the guy and he said sorry man, I tossed them. BS...they were not even 6 months old and still looked pretty new. I'm sure he used them and made a profit.

Anyhow, if you're near the boarder, I very highly recommend Southern NH Undercar in Hampstead NH. Dan is the owner and he's pretty much the exhaust guru anywhere near here. He did my original job in all stainless and it was flawless.

I am using a 53070 in a Banks cat back system. The 6" round was way too loud for me. I want the performance, but want it to be as quite as possible. What is recommended for almost stock sound level with optimum performance?

Hi MeanGene,

What is the year, submodel, engine and cab configuration of your truck? Also, is it 2 or 4-wheel drive?

Our best recommendation for a mild to stock sound level would be one of our Force II systems. We offer single exit and dual exit Force II systems for your truck in both aluminized or 409S stainless steel. Keep in mind that even though these are relatively quiet systems, because your truck is supercharged, it will produce a louder exhaust note than an otherwise stock 5.4L. If you have future performance goals, or build plans in mind, and would like to put together a custom system for your truck to meet those specific needs, give our Race Specialist, Ronnie Olson a call at 707-544-4761 ext. 448 and he will walk you through some of our other options.

It would be nice if we could get a cat back exhaust wit a x flow hooked in that has short pipes that turn down. Preferably by the end of the crew cab where the bed starts....have you guys considered such exhaust?
