Which intake is the best for 2012 5.0

Hey guys I just purchased a 2012 f-150 5.0 and was wondering what is the best intake on the market for making some extra power. I know there are plenty of brands like k&n, ingen, roush, Volant but I don't know which one to purchase any input would be great. Thanks

NONE of them will add power over the stock intake, which IS a cold air intake. Spend your money on something that will make a real difference. If you want some sound, no need to get a cat back, just delete the resonator. The stock muffler is a straight through design. A programmer with custom tunes will make the most difference.

Aftermarket intakes are pretty much the same when it comes to functionality so just get the one that you like. Then, consider upgrading your exhaust also in order to get some hp improvement.

I did the Gott's mod, and used a K&N insert. I also removed the sound restrictor in the stock intake. Really pleased with the results. Deeper tone from the exhaust, and it just feels more responsive.

Just noticed you have a 2012. Not sure if the Gotts will work with your year truck.

Don't need to do a mod to the stock 2012 intake, it's already as efficient as it's going to get.

The Boss 302 would be the best Intake.
