Hey everyone,

So my 2010 FX4 5.4 (98K miles) threw a P2135 code. Throttle body/pedal position issue.

My question is this...

I recently installed a cold air intake about 4 months ago. Will a cold air intake harm my throttle body? Is it possible the CAI caused this to happen? Or is this just coincidence?

It's probably coincidence, but a CAI does cause lean running issues on the 5.4 3 valve, especially with canned tunes. I'd get rid of it and do a Gotts mod to the stock intake, the CAI will not give you any performance or economy gains by itself without other mods and custom tuning.
