So I have a 02 f150 6cyl 2x bought the truck brand new 0 miles back in 02 it's been an amazing truck so far. Original motor and Trans with 280k miles.

My trucks throwing the p0135 heated oxygen sensor bank1 sensor 1 I checked with the odb and sure enough 0.000 v on that sensor the others are reading normal. So first I checked fuse 23 for hego and the fuse is good. So next step replace the sensor. Pulled the old sensor for the driver side manifold popped the new one in. Re checked with the odb and I still have no volts to the sensor. Where do I go next? There was a little corrosion in the plug I cleaned it up applied a tiny bit of dielectric grease being careful not to let any drool over to another pin out. I'm sure there's no issues there. This is a new code with in the last 45 days it showed up.

Where do I go from here?

 

Never mind I'm not thinking clearly. I replaced the wrong sensor *smacks back of head* cylinder 1 passenger side of engine therefore bank 1 also passenger side. I can't believe I just did that. Explains the odd presentation if you replace the wrong sensor of coarse it's still going to be bad. Lol. Sorry. Can a mod delete this?
