I read about the gotta MOD on the air box on a 2000 f150 I have one with a 5.4. I read that a guy removed the silencer with it and it made it sound better. How do I remove the silencer

I just did this today. There is an increase in throttle response and a little acceleration increase. I also removed the silencer as it is restrictive too. Over all, with both mods, I spent twenty bucks. Also, with both mods, the engine sounds the way a V8 should, just a little mean, and with both there are distinct increases.*2 thumbs up!!!!! Thanks for the right up........this is what the post said I'm just curious how to take the silencer out
