Hey guys, just installed an AirRaid CAI on my 14 F-150 Ecoboost. Upon removing the factory pieces, I noticed plastic rings inside 2 of the tubes that lead from the air box. They are a ring with fins on them, does anyone know the function, and if I need to keep them in place? I can't seem to find any mention of it. I would assume it would create a cyclone effect inside the intake tube by forcing the air to move in a pattern, but thats just an educated guess.
