Where can I buy raw muffler parts
Most of the local muffler shops will install whatever they have but
if you mention an all stainless steel muffler like magnaflow, they say, "Well, you buy it and bring it in and we'll put it on for ya.."
So, I think that's exactly what I'm going to do.
I have twin cats on my 4.6 and I would like a stainless "X" cross-over right behind the two cats and then install two stainless steel
magnaflows side by side, with 2.5 inch pipes all the way out under the rear bumper.
QUESTIONS: Who offers stainless steel "X" cross-overs? Who offers the best pricing on stainless steel mufflers? Is there such a thing as a "series 40" magnaflow ... Like the Flowmaster 40 Series? Does the magnaflow muffler sound good and healthy
without being noisy (behind twin cats?)
Can someone direct me to the best three websites to find these
raw materials ... then, I'll just walk into my local muffler shop with the goodies I want installed.
