Anybody got the Force II from Flowmaster?
I have one on my Expy. It is a single in/out with three inch pipe and it exits in the stock location. My wife doesn't even mind it. She said it sounds good. It sounds great--typical Flowmaster. There is no drone at all in the cab. At 75 mph, it is very quiet. You almost wouldn't know it was there had you not compared it to the stock loudness. We've taken on several trips, 800 miles or so round trip, and the thing just isn't loud. When you get away from a light, you can tell it's there. You can make it as loud as you want, depending on how hard you push on the loud pedal.
My wife has driven by me at about 75 or so in it ( I was in our other car and she was going around me) and it sounds nice. I've even pulled up next to her and antagonized her just so she would floor it and I could listen. I've got it bad, huh?
Hope that helps.

Oh yeah, it's easy to install. It took two of us 20 minutes in my driveway. The hard part is getting the old one off. Once I figured that a dremel tool was the correct "tool", it took 5 minutes to get the stock system off.
I've had the Force II for about a year now. Mine is dual out the sides with mandrel bent 2.5" tubing and stainless steel tips.
The install was easy once I got the old system off. The clamps included with the system are crap and I broke 3 of them. Didn't really matter because I had all the joints welded later that day. The hanger for the driver's side tailpipe didn't fit at all and I had the muffler shop fab one up when they welded all the seams.
Sound is deep and there was a little rumble at idle. At WOT it really wakes up, but it was still fairly moderate. This system doesn't drone. it is fairly quiet in the cab and louder at the tailpipes.
I replaced the crappy stock y-pipe with a Flowmaster Y-Pipe a few months ago and it really woke the system up. More power and deeper/louder sound. The y-pipe by itself was the killer exhaust mod - without it the Force II (or most any other kit, for that matter) is kinda lame.
All things considered, here is what I would do:
I would buy a FM 2.5" into 3" y-pipe and a 3 inch in/out 50 series flowmaster from Summit Racing, take them to an installer that people recommend, and have them fab up a nice 3" system in the stock location. Depending on your installer, you should get a far better system for 1/2 the money. I wish someone would have told me this before I bought mine. Good luck.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the info. I just can't decide on an exhaust. The Flowmaster is cheap and easy to install so I am leaning towards that one but the Gibson sweptside is an option as well.
I got the Flowmaster because it was cheaper and I couldn't find anyone who had the Gibson to listen to. I wanted the Gibson but didn't want to spend the extra not knowing what it would sound like. The Flowmaster sounds nice. I've had it 1 1/2 yrs...no regrets.
