Exhaust for 300 six

I'm thinking of putting a different exhaust on my truck. Right now, its got single 3" pipe (no cat converter) connected to some $20 NAPA muffler (too quiet!), and 3" tailpipe that comes out in front of the right rear tire. I'll probably use this set up again, but I'd like to put on a Flowmaster. I'm thinking of going with a 50 series--I want it to sound nice, but not be annoying loud. Any ideas on what I should use?

Thanks!
