Exhaust Help
I want an exhaust on my '06 f150, and i want some suggestions on an exhaust that's loud as hell but still legal. I've looked at flowmasters and magnaflows, but what's your suggestion? Cheaper's best, but not crazy about just flat out straight piping it.Do a muffler with a 3.5" pipe? Need suggestions....
I recommend a Borla xr-1 40085 and a upgraded y pipe and do 3 inch from the y pipe to the muffler and a single 3 inch tailpipe dumped over the axle. But that's just my suggestion. It's loud, legal, and sounds nasty good.
Agreed..
He said cheap people!!!
Op, order a single 3" dynomax bullet muffler and have a shop run it out the side of the truck with some stainless tips in front of the rear tire. If that's not loud enough then replace cats with high flow cats from magnaflow.

That I did haha. Don't really want to run the pipes out the side, know someone who did that and they regret it.
Anyone have experiance with spintech mufflers? Looking at the pro sharpshooter series. Not sure though.

I strongly suggest the bullet muffler. Much better sound than them spintech mufflers. Get on YouTube and watch some videos with dynomax bullet mufflers.
