Intake w programmer question?

So I have seen alot of people run the edge programmer with a custom intake (airaid, k&n, etc..) and my question is. Does it cause your truck to run lean?? Reason why I ask is because I want to put my programmer back on and I also just got a airaid intake I want to add but I dont want my truck to run lean.

thanks for the input!

I have a PHP Gryphon programmer with custom tunes so my intake definitely does not run lean since I have it custom tuned. They say to run the canned 87 tow tune while waiting on my custom tunes. I've had my intake on for at least two years before even having a programmer and no harm was done.

You don't know unless you get the a/f ratio's check. No programmer will do that without datalogging.
