help with quote

was just told is going to cost $1200 to repair exhaust manifold on mu 2008 5.4. sound high to me. dealer quote. any suggestions?

Um for that kinda money i could probably get LT headers, cats,and mufflers, if not everything else.

So anywhere between $500 - $700 not including gasket. Seven would be Max.

dealer said needs on pass side exahaust manifold, studs, nuts, and gaskets. estimated cost $1100. 2 days to repair. ouch!!!

Again, run!

Seriously, sounds to me like they're trying to work you over good and not even use salve!

Find a good, local exhaust shop or mechanic to give you a quote. OR look into replacing your manifolds with long tube headers.

Yea, I'd have to look that up to show you the fair price.
