High Performance Intake Help?!?

I have a 2004 F150 with the 5.4L V8. I am looking to get a high performance intake put in. I want to get the most power out of this thing that i can. Anybody have any suggestions?

First, an aftermarket intake gives minimal performance at best. 8 or so more hp. Plus, your 2004 came from the factory in a near lean tune and if you ad the intake without a custom tune, there is a high risk of doing damage. By far, the best single mod for power is a custom tune. Much more for your money. Do the Gotts mod and get a tuner.

x2 if you want the best bang for your $. I did K&N first, I like it but whish I got a tuner first. I'd recomend a GRYPHON from PHP.

Visit the supercharger and turbo section. Plenty of high performance intakes in there.

The Airaid Jr. kit is quite good, I originally had their full cai and it was obnoxious. The Jr. is still pretty quiet and I gained an mpg over the full kit. I would still get a tune though, I just use an Edge Evolution but it is fantastic. Honestly you're not gonna feel the difference with the cai it just sounds better.
